Our training program is known as AFF - Accelerated Free Fall.
AFF is a seven (7) jump progression program designed to add skill sets that transform the novice to a safe and independent, solo skydiver.
Classroom/Ground Training and First Jump - Classroom/ground training begins on Fridays at 5:00 pm running until approximately 9 pm, and continues on the next day (Saturday) at 9 am wrapping up about noon. Students will make their first skydive on Saturday afternoon, weather permitting. Classes are first-come, first-serve.
2018 Accelerated Freefall (AFF) Ground Training Schedule
Our regularly scheduled Ground Training Classes begin on Friday evening, and continue on Saturday morning. You can reserve your slot in class by using the "Book Now" button and utilizing our online reservation system. If for some reason, the Friday/Saturday class schedule does not work for you, give us a call. We usually can work with you to meet your schedule. Our currently scheduled 2018 classes are:
- April - 4/27
- May - 5/11 and 5/25
- June - 6/8 and 6/22
- July - 7/6 and 7/20
- August - 8/3 and 8/17
- September - 9/7 and 9/21
How To Make a Reservation - To book a slot in one of our 2018 classes, click on the "Book Now" button on this page, and select the "Accelerated Freefall Training Class" calendar to book online. Or call our office at 586-752-5867 and we'lll register you for class. Accelerated Freefall Training skydives beyond the first jump (Jumps 2-7) are scheduled based on your availability and usually require about one hour of preparation with your instructors prior to the actual jump.
AFF - The Process
First Jump Course & Jump 1
The program begins with an intensive ground school known as the first jump course. Lasting between six to eight hours, first time jumpers are trained on how to use the parachute equipment, correct freefall body position, emergency procedures and flying the parachute. The class is followed by your first jump with two instructors who fly alongside giving feedback to correct body position and assist where needed.
Training continues adding additional skill sets for each jump. Jumps two and three are made with two instructors.
Jumps 4-7 consist of jumping alongside one instructor who will be adding your to your skill sets preparing you to make jump number eight a completely solo skydive!
Located 25 minutes from Detroit. We cater to new jumpers who live near the Detroit, Lansing, Ann Arbor, Flint, Jackson, Pontiac, Dearborn, Saginaw, Bay City and all over Michigan.
