Did you know that Google founder, Sergey Brin is a skydiver? We're not sure how much jumping he does, but Mr. Brin released a photo of himself exiting a very sweet helicopter! Judging by the photo - it's not your normal jump helicopter based on the plush leather interior of the seats in the background.
The photo was published on Brin's Google+ page bringing a TON of exposure to the sport. Within a couple of short days the post had been shared more than 320 times, liked or +1, more than 5,000 times and received more than 280 comments.
Brin added to the photo:
You know the sensation of weightlessness you get from the drop of a roller coaster. Well, you don't get much of that jumping out of an airplane because the high airspeed causes you to feel pressure the moment you step out. A helicopter, however, can go very slow so when you jump it's like falling through space."?
We're thrilled that someone with the social stature and following of Sergey Brin can bring so much great exposure to the sport!
The staff and friendly environment gave me the courage and drive to do my first solo jump. I haven't looked back since.
