Date Details: Friday, September 6, 2019 — 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Do you wish to take your love of skydiving beyond the tandem skydive? If so, this is the place for you - Let our team help make your dream a reality and become a licensed skydiver.
Our training program is known as AFF - Accelerated Free Fall.
AFF is a eight (8) jump progression program designed to add skill sets that transform the novice to a safe and independent, solo skydiver.
Classroom/Ground Training and First Jump - Classroom/ground training begins on Fridays at 5:00 pm running until approximately 9 pm, and may continue on the next day (Saturday) at 9 am, depending on class size. Students will make their first skydive on Saturday, weather permitting. Classes are first-come, first-serve. $249, includes First Jump Course ground training and Level A1 skydive.
Your first Skydive is included in the cost of the Ground Training/First Jump package, and is paid at the time of class registration. Your first jump will consist of a specialized, focused Tandem Skydive conducted with a Tandem/Accelerated Freefall Instructor and goes beyond the ususal Tandem Skydive by focusing on proper exit techniques, freefall body position, altitude awareness, proper deployment procedures and one-on-one canopy flight instruction. This Skydive provides a guided instructional experience that will enhance your awareness and prepare you well for your flying your body on your next skydive using our individual student equipment.
AFF - The Process
First Jump Course & Jump 1
The program begins with an intensive ground school known as the first jump course. Lasting between six to eight hours, first time jumpers are trained on how to use the parachute equipment, correct freefall body position, emergency procedures and flying the parachute. The class is followed by your first jump which is a specifically designed tandem skydive with an AFF/Tandem Instructor who will give you direct supervision and feedback regarding correct body position, equipment operation and canopy piloting.
Training continues adding additional skill sets for each jump. Jumps two through four are made with our specifically outfitted student equipment and two instructors who fly along side you, giving you direct feedback in freefall regarding correct body position, awareness, and equipment operation.
Jumps 5-8 consist of jumping alongside one instructor who will be adding your to your skill set, preparing you to make jump number nine a completely solo skydive!
